ZAGGbuds Patent Issued

ZAGG Inc. (NASDAQ: ZAGG) (www.ZAGG.com), a leading producer of mobile electronics accessories including the popular invisibleSHIELD(TM) and ZAGGaudio(TM) brands, has been awarded patent number US D607,875 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued on January 12, 2010. The patent covers design elements of ZAGG's popular ZAGGbuds in-ear headphones.

ZAGGbuds were first introduced at International CES 2009 where they won a CES Innovations award for design and engineering. ZAGGbuds have been the primary product of the ZAGGaudio line. Originally named Z.buds, ZAGG has recently re-branded and updated the popular buds, which include more comfortable and ergonomic earpieces, even better sound quality, as well as an improved, polyurethane (same unique durable coating as the invisibleSHIELD) tangle-free cord. Other improvements to the original design include an updated sleek microphone and music controller for the ZAGGsmartbuds version and a 90 degree molding for the 3.5mm jack.

"ZAGG is a leader in creative thought and production, and we feel it is very important to provide IP brand protection for our customers and shareholders," said Robert G. Pedersen II, CEO and co-founder of ZAGG. "This recognition for the ZAGG brands and increasing extension of ZAGG's intellectual property protection adds value as ZAGG continues to innovate with solutions that protect and enhance the mobile experience."

ZAGGbuds are available online at ZAGG.com for $59.99. For more information about ZAGG or any of their products, please visit ZAGG.com.
